On November 30, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued Announcement No. 625, announcing the variety information of 1,384 rice, corn, cotton and other crops approved by the 10th meeting of the 4th National Crop Variety Approval Committee. Among them, 79 new rice varieties, 21 new corn varieties and 1 new cotton variety cultivated by subsidiaries and shareholding companies of Chinaseed, Syngenta Group, were approved.
The 101 new varieties that successfully passed the examination and approval demonstrate the scientific research and breeding strength of Chinaseed, Syngenta Group, which will further enrich and improve its variety structure in the fields of rice, corn, cotton, etc., so as to enhance its core competitiveness, promote brand influence, and lay a solid foundation for the sustainable and stable development of Chinaseed, Syngenta Group.
