Lately, the 100,000 tons/year CO2 capture and purification system exported by SWRDICI (Southwest Research & Design Institute of the Chemical Industry) to Dongkwang Chemical MFG. CO., Ltd. in South Korea was successfully initiated. The product purity meets contractual requirements, and this is the fifth CO2 capture and purification system exported by SWRDICI to South Korea.
The CO2 capture and purification project utilizes SWRDICI’s independently developed pressure swing adsorption technology. It concentrates and purifies CO2 from upstream refinery exhaust gases, producing food-grade liquid CO2 and dry ice. The project encompasses proprietary technology, complete design, key equipment, and an integrated control system provided by SWRDICI.
Since 2009, SWRDICI has constructed multiple sets of CO2 capture and purification systems in South Korea, all of which have achieved long-term stable and safe operation. Technical indicators have met or exceeded design specifications, earning recognition from the market. With cutting-edge technology and excellent product quality, SWRDICI is contributing to the achievement of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
